WILO USA LLC is proud to launch the MVIS: The world’s first multistage booster pump using a maintenance-free, wet rotor motor. Without using fans, seals, or couplings, the MVIS is also the world’s quietest booster pump, with a maximum noise output level of 40dB.

The MVIS is primarily used in pressure boosting applications, and is ideal for locations where subdued noise levels are required – such as hospitals, apartments, hotels and office buildings. It is also suitable for condenser and chilled water, as well as for use with VFD’s. The MVIS range is available in 15, 30 and 50 USGPM nominal flow ranges, which make up the thirteen 208-230/460/575v three phase models currently available.

The MVIS compliments the current MVI range of multistage boosters, which use a standard mechanical seal, coupling and Baldor frame motors. The MVI features an extra thrust bearing in the pump end, elimating extra thrust loads on the motor. The MVI is available in oval or ANSI flanged connections, with flows up to 150 USGPM, and heads up to 750 feet. Both multistage ranges use a solid AISI 304 stainless steel construction.
