Mixer Types

Miniprop submersible mixers are used in pumping stations to avoid or whirl up deposits and to breakup floating covers in sewage plants and wetwells. Miniprop mixers are also used in the homogienization of basin contents in relatively small sewage plants and reaction tanks.

Direct Driven Uniprop submersible mixers are used in stormwater retention tanks, sludge storage tanks, and biological processes.

Uniprop submersible mixers with integral gearboxs are legendary for their performance in industrial, municipal and agricultural applications.

Low speed Maxiprop mixers are commonly used in activating, anaerobic and denitrification tanks. These mixers prevent settling of activated sludge flakes. The backwards curve design of the blades provide a self-cleaning effect.

Low speed Megaprop mixers are equipped with three propeller blades, which provides very high thrust capabilities. In some applications this means that the number of mixers can be decreased.
